In my district, professional development in the area of technology is overlooked. In fact I cannot recall any such pd in the 5 years I have been with the district. This module points out not only the importance of professional development, but the focus is on the design of effective professional development. Currently by district and school building have considered the purchase of Chromebooks to give more access to students. I want to ensure the district and staff implement the technology to the best of their ability, so I created this experience in hopes of applying it in the future to educate the staff and ensure the Chromebooks are effectively integrated into the curriculum.
